Serving individuals and families across the Midwest and South.
ACA Marketplace plans for individuals and families. We check your subsidy eligibility and find the plan that fits your budget, your doctors, and your medications.
Choosing a health insurance plan can be overwhelming. There are dozens of plans, different networks, varying deductibles, and confusing subsidy calculations. That's where we come in.
We compare all available plans in your area, verify that your doctors are in-network, check that your medications are covered, and calculate your exact subsidy amount so you know what you'll actually pay each month.
The Affordable Care Act provides premium tax credits based on your income and household size. Many individuals and families qualify for significant savings — some even qualify for $0 premium plans.
Subsidy eligibility depends on your estimated income for the year, where you live, and how many people are in your household. We calculate this for you.
Open Enrollment typically runs from November through January each year. But you don't have to wait — if you've had a qualifying life event like losing other coverage, getting married, having a baby, or moving, you may qualify for a Special Enrollment Period right now.
Ready to see what's available? Use our quoting tool to browse plans, compare prices, and check your subsidy eligibility instantly.
Prefer to talk to someone? We're happy to walk you through your options over the phone or on Zoom. No cost, no obligation.
Turning 65 or reviewing your current plan? We compare Medicare Advantage, Medigap, and Part D options to find the right fit for your doctors, medications, and budget.
Medicare can be confusing. Original Medicare, Medicare Advantage, Medigap supplements, Part D drug plans — there are a lot of moving pieces. Our job is to simplify it and help you make an informed decision.
Original Medicare (Parts A & B) covers hospital stays and medical services but has no out-of-pocket maximum and doesn't include dental, vision, or hearing.
Medicare Advantage (Part C) bundles everything together through a private carrier. Most plans include dental, vision, and hearing with a yearly out-of-pocket cap.
Which one is right for you depends on your doctors, medications, and how you prefer to receive care.
Medigap plans fill the gaps in Original Medicare — deductibles, copays, and coinsurance. Plans are standardized by letter, so Plan G from Aetna covers exactly the same things as Plan G from Humana. The only difference is the price, which is why comparing carriers matters.
Original Medicare does not cover most prescription drugs. Part D plans have formularies — lists of covered drugs — and not every plan covers every medication. We cross-reference your full medication list against every available plan to find the lowest total cost.
Your enrollment window opens 3 months before your 65th birthday, includes your birthday month, and closes 3 months after. That's a 7-month window. Missing it can result in late enrollment penalties that last for life.
Annual Enrollment Period (AEP): October 15 – December 7 every year. During AEP you can switch Medicare Advantage plans, change Part D plans, or move between Advantage and Original Medicare.
Protect your family's financial future. We compare term, whole life, and final expense options across multiple carriers to find affordable coverage.
Life insurance isn't about you — it's about the people who depend on you. Your mortgage, your children's education, your partner's ability to stay afloat. The average American is underinsured by about $200,000, and most families aren't prepared for the financial impact of losing a provider.
Term life covers you for a set period — 10, 20, or 30 years. It's the most affordable option and is ideal for protecting your family while kids are young, while you have a mortgage, or during your peak earning years. A healthy 30-year-old can get $500,000 in coverage for less than $30 per month.
Whole life covers you for your entire life and builds cash value over time. Premiums are higher than term, but the policy never expires. It's a good fit for estate planning, leaving a legacy, or guaranteeing coverage regardless of future health changes.
A small whole life policy (usually $5,000–$25,000) designed to cover funeral costs, medical bills, and other end-of-life expenses. The average funeral in Ohio costs $7,000–$12,000.
Final expense policies are easier to qualify for than traditional life insurance. Some require no medical exam.
If anyone depends on your income, you need life insurance. But even single individuals benefit — funeral costs fall on family members, student loans can transfer to cosigners, and locking in rates while young and healthy saves money long-term.
Independent insurance advisor helping individuals and families find the right coverage since 2015.
Owner & Lead Advisor, Bell Insurance Group
I started in the insurance industry over 11 years ago with a simple belief: everyone deserves someone who will sit down and explain their insurance options in plain English, without the pressure and without the jargon.
After years of working in the industry, I founded Bell Insurance Group to do things my way — as an independent advisor who works for my clients, not for one insurance company. Being independent means I compare plans across multiple carriers to find what's genuinely best for you, not what pays me the most.
I specialize in health insurance (ACA Marketplace plans), Medicare (Advantage, Supplement, and Part D), and life insurance (term, whole, and final expense). I'm licensed in Ohio, Michigan, Texas, Florida, and Kentucky.
When I'm not helping clients, you'll find me on the football field — I coach football at Pickerington North High School. The same qualities that make a good coach make a good insurance advisor: patience, preparation, and putting the people you serve first.
My service is completely free. The insurance carriers pay me, and the plans cost the same whether you use me or go direct. The difference is you get someone in your corner who actually cares about getting it right.

Yes, 100% free. Insurance carriers pay us a commission when you enroll, so you never pay us anything. The plans cost the same whether you use an agent or go direct.
We are currently licensed in Ohio, Michigan, Texas, Florida, and Kentucky. We're working on expanding to additional states.
A captive agent works for one insurance company and can only sell that company's products. As an independent agent, we compare plans across multiple carriers to find what's genuinely best for you — not what one company wants us to sell.
Absolutely. We can review your current coverage to make sure you're still on the best plan for your needs. Plans, networks, and formularies change every year — what was great last year might not be the best option now.
Subsidy eligibility depends on your estimated annual income, household size, and location. We can check your eligibility in about 2 minutes during a consultation. Many people who think they earn too much are surprised by what they qualify for.
Your Initial Enrollment Period starts 3 months before your 65th birthday and ends 3 months after. Annual Enrollment Period (AEP) runs October 15 through December 7 each year. There are also special situations that may allow you to enroll or make changes outside these windows.
Not always. We work with carriers that offer no-exam policies. These are especially common for final expense coverage and certain term life products. During our consultation, we'll determine which option makes the most sense for your health situation and coverage goals.
Most consultations take about 15 minutes. We'll go over your current situation, answer your questions, and if you'd like to see plan options, we can walk through those together. There's never any pressure to enroll.
For health insurance: your income estimate and household size. For Medicare: your Medicare card, medication list, and preferred doctors/pharmacy. For life insurance: just a general idea of how much coverage you're looking for.
We don't disappear. We're your ongoing point of contact for questions, changes, annual reviews, and anything else that comes up with your coverage. We also proactively reach out before renewal periods to make sure you're still on the best plan.
